First, meet Super Traveller! (Must make Superman arms when you say this:) This big, fat, soft, squooshy yarn is just what it says it is: a bulky version of our much loved Traveller. 107 yards of 100% superwash merino for all of your bulky yarn needs. Rouched and Ready by Cristi Brockaway? Super comfy oversized cardigan? Perpetually persistent cowl by Liz Abinante? Max by Aggregate? Baby blanket? Meander cowl by Mercedes Knits? I can't wait to see what you make with it!

Second, may I present Live Oak Socks created by Mercedes Tarasovich-Clark for Club Dragonwitch this summer. We ask designers to keep their patterns exclusive to the club for 6 months, and they are free to publish for their own purposes. I have a special feeling for these because they were created to use with a club colorway called Spanish Moss. Anyone from down south knows that spanish moss goes hand in glove with the beautiful live oak trees that grow huge in a meandering sort of way in New Orleans and her sister cities. When I was a kid, I used to wear this stuff in my hair as a wig:)
Next time, hopefully, I will have a WIP and FO post for you but in the meantime, I have some reminders:
We are updating the shop at 4 pm today.
Homespun Yarn Party! is next Sunday, March 25th from 12-5 in the ballroom of Savage Mill in Savage Maryland. We'll be there with lots of yarn and fiber in springy colorways, Trindle drop spindles, and patterns that work well for our yarns. Yay!
Watch this space for more cool class offerings; we have a fleece processing class with Elizabeth Stover in the works as well as a dye workshop in conjunction with The Yarn Spot.
